We have been developing a forest management plan for the Sawmill Gulch Homeowners Association. This work has consisted of creating a long term forest health and fuels reduction program using commercial and precommercial thinning techniques. This program has developed a priority plan for addressing forest pests and pathogens with emphasis on defensible space. Our priorities have included weed management, revegetating disturbed areas, and specific haul/skid road layout.
